Pro Football Focus have released their PFF 101, their list of top 101 players for the 2022 season.
PFF uses their ratings to rank the top 101 players regardless of position for the 2022 season. Only stats from the 2022 season go into their rankings.
Two former Michigan Wolverines were on the list, starting with a defensive end who helped take his team to the Super Bowl.
36. Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles
Brandon Graham just completed his 13th season with the Eagles and it was arguably his best yet. With his first double-digit sack season, the Eagles defensive end found himself in the top 40 of this year’s list.
According to PFF;
Graham looked almost washed out last year, but he was back to his best form this season at nearly 35. Graham recorded 55 total pressures in more than a rotational role for the Eagles, earning an 89.8 PFF rating for passing rushing.
73. Michael Onwenu, New England Patriots
Michael Onwenu has been a valuable part of the Patriots OL since leaving Michigan. In 2022, he was a full-time starter and proved himself to be one of the best in the league.
According to PFF;
Finally given the chance to start the whole season at one position, Onwenu continued to excel on the Patriots offensive line. He’s allowed 14 total pressures in 2022, and six of them have come in the last three games, including the only sack he’s dropped.
