Whoopi Goldberg ends 2022 by once again invoking her controversial views which have been widely seen as anti-Semitic – openly wondering what she said was so bad.
The famed ‘The View’ co-host chatted with Timewhere her so-called ‘cancellation’ was brought up… and it caused Whoopi to launch a new mini-rant about the Jewish people and whether they’re a race or not – something that got her in trouble earlier this year.

Whoopi says that Jews themselves are divided on whether or not they belong to one race, even quoting a Jewish friend who said…”It’s not for nothing that there’s no box on the census for the Jewish race. This leads me to believe that we are probably not a race.”
The author points out what many have already said on this subject, namely that the Nazis considered the Jews to be a race, therefore (in this context) they should be discussed as such.

To that, Whoopi replied… “Yes, but he’s the killer, isn’t he? The oppressor tells you what you are. Why do you believe them? They’re Nazis. Why believe this? what they say?”
Whoopi goes on to insist that the Holocaust was not about race, from her perspective, saying… “Remember who they killed first. They didn’t kill racial, they killed They were killing people they considered mentally deficient, and then they made that decision.

When the author points out to Whoopi that physical tests were performed on Jews to determine if they were, in fact, Jews in Nazi Germany – again emphasizing that the Nazis viewed Jews as a race – Whoopi backed down and said… “They did that to black people too. But that doesn’t change the fact that you couldn’t tell a Jew on the street. You could find me. You couldn’t find them. It was what I meant. I thought I took a big old stinky dump off the table with my buttocks bare.”
She seems hung up on semantics – specifically, between race and ethnicity (which are different) – all because “Jewish” doesn’t show up on the census under race. Either way, there is no doubt that Jewish identity is multi-faceted – and Jews are, for sure, an ethnic group…and have been seen through that lens across almost all of Europe. ‘story.
Why Whoopi keeps nitpicking about this issue is beyond us, but it’s definitely a 180 of his apologies …that she gave birth shortly before being suspended for two weeks.
Time will tell what will become of the new year.
